These are REALLY tough animals and my congratulations to Jon for taking such a tip top trophy!
As far as the picture itself goes, it’s great to see contact between the trophy animal and the hunter. He’ll remember that moment for the rest of his life.

Yes, I grew up with horses so I have a lot of respect for them and I felt hesistant taking this animal right up until after I pulled the trigger. The smile on my face is pure relief and joy that I put him down clean and easy. Everyone kept telling me how tough these guys are so I was very happy I was able to perform well, especially on this one =)
